Found great deal for ALFA AWUS036H 1000mW

    Hey guys,

I was also looking for ALFA AWUS036H 1000mW and looks like i've found a gr8 deal for the same.

It costs $30 in total which at current rate translates to Rupees 1421, includes shipping cost. Ships directly from Hongkong.

I hope its contains the same chip as advertised on ebay which is RTL8187L and the
product is from Taiwan not from China.

I am gonna order it right now.

If you need any information regarding this contact my email i.e. justin.jabber [a.t.] yahoo.com.

You can also buy the same from me as m ordering in bulk.
    M from Delhi btw.

    Thanks,
    Neel

    Hey Guys..

    Is this thread still live....?

Wanted some suggestion from you guy's.

Can any of you suggest me any other Wi-fi adapter's other than ALFA AWUS036H and D-Link DWA 125 that are compatable with backtrack and is usefull for pentesting. Also wanted to know if D-Link DWA 123 works fine/is compatable.

Have searched a lot for these two devices in mumbai....but could't get either of the two.

Kindly provide me address of any shop's in mumbai where in these are available, if any.

    Thanks,

Of course yes until it's been locked for some reason. You could send personal messages to members you think who could render some help as they might miss your post if not visiting forum regularly.

AFAIK - All alfa cards would work on windows. Some would not work on linux. This particular one works on Both

    Hello,

I want to opt for a wireless adapter for Penetration Testing coupled with Backtrack 5 R3. I have read through ton of materials, forums and websites but unable to come to a conclusion. Can you suggest a dual band (2.4 and 5ghz) Wi-Fi USB card, having spent ages trawling Google and other forums etc I would be seriously grateful.

If not please suggest me any one of the below mentioned cards…..

    Below are my choices :

    AWUS036NHR - 802.11b/g/n 2W Long-Rang USB Adapter
à Want to buy this one but I am really confused if this works fine out of the Box with Backtrack 5 R3.

    AWUS036H (rtl8187, r8187)
à I Know that this works perfectly with backtrack 5 R3 but it does not include n only supports b and g... so i am less inclined towards this one.

    AWUS036NH (Ralink RT2870/3070)
