    I opened a friend's website today after a long time and then I saw that someone hacked the website.

    I examined the known vulnerabilities, but I did not get any success which I could upload files.

    Can someone please tell me the reason, through which the website has been hacked.

    One easy way could be - since it's your friends site, ask him for logs and analyze them for attack vectors.

    yep go with bond suggestion

    also check if any other sites got defaced on the same server as there is possibility that his site may be victim of mass defacement.
